Cuarto álbum de estudio para los germanos después de casi seis años de silencio, regresando si cabe con un álbum mucho mas centrado en ofrecer un sonido que aúna tanto el black de corte melódico con secciones más acorde con el death. El trabajo de guitarras en este álbum se antoja soberbio, sabiendo construir un entramado de guitarra limpias que sirven tanto para dar sustentos a los temas en sus parte inicial como cuando aparecen en la parte central de los mismos, para añadir un componente entre melancólico y melódico al conjunto. El ritmo juega con partes lentas y otras mucho más rápidas y directas, cuando hacen acto de aparición las guitarra y la batería van siguiendo la estela de la guitarras limpias, inyectando un plus de agresividad y contundencia que se ve refrendado cuando las voces emplean la agresividad y la vinolencia para añadir un punto de frialdad al conjunto. A diferencias de otras bandas que se resguardan en los fuertes contrastes entre agresividad y melodía y visten su música de una falsa apariencia extrema, Thulcandra ofrece contrastes que se antojan necesarios para sacar adelante un álbum que no desentonaría en la faceta más black melódica de los noventa sin renunciar en ningún momento a las texturas más densa y profundas del death. Sin lugar a duda Thulcandra se ha sumergido en un álbum en donde cada detalle ha sido cuidado y que sobresale por saber combinar a la perfección un tono melódico presente tanto en las partes más lentas como en las agresivas, sin que todo ello desentona en un trasfondo de frialdad y agresividad.
