NOVA ORDO ATER (REHEARSAL 2009)
Pocas bandas pueden presumir a día de hoy de conservar la esencia del black en su sonido, Werwolf lleva mas de década y media manteniendo el sonido del black en su vertiente más cruda y fría sin apenas alteración lo cual le ha servido para convertirse todo una institución en la escena y a Satanic Warmaster en un referente dentro del black de sonido más clásico. En esta demo se incluyen nueve temas que apenas superan los treinta minutos de duración total y que desde el comienzo ya sabemos que nos vamos a enfrentar a otra embestida de black crudo y sucio sin renunciar a una cierta meloadía escondida en el fondo de todo el sonido. Solo hace falta escuchar el comienzo de "The Vampiric Tyrant" para saber de lo que estoy hablando, esos riffs de guitarra que crean una melodía siniestra se te puede quedar pegada en la cabeza durante días y esto solo es una pequeña muestra de todo el potencial de esta demo, que como no, siempre es mejor escuchar de un tirón para acabar de comprenderla como se merece. Black metal en estado puro de los que conservan en su sonido la vertiente clásica del género, seguramente no llame la atención como otros combos pero Satanic Warmaster por siempre tiene que ir unido a la definición del black.
