RUGIA (2021)
Decimosegundo álbum para esta veteranísima banda polaca que parece que en la última década ha dado con la formula a la hora de ofrecer un sonido potente de blackened death metal. Desde el tema inicial que sirve para dar título al álbum, la banda de Adam se emplea a fondo con un sonido potente y denso, con un ritmo relativamente alto en donde se suceden tanto blast beats de densa factura como una sucesión de riffs profundos con algunos momentos en donde podemos disfrutar de algunos solos que son pura descarga de odio lleno de una profundidad insondable, al tiempo que las voces optan por un terreno black/death, repletas de guturales, agresividad y potentica perfectamente engranadas con el apartado musical. Esta formula se sucede a lo largo de las composiciones ofreciéndose un riff poderoso y reconocible sobre el que sustenta el grueso de la composición, resistiendo el envite tanto de las batería despiadada como de las portentosas voces en un ejercicio de música destructiva que sólo deja algunos resquicios para la aparición de algunos riffs de factura digamos, que más melódica o ambiental que solo sirve para añadir si cabe una carga de mayor emotividad a la conjunto. Un álbum que no ceja en su empeño de ofrecer una propuesta compacta, sin fisuras en ninguno de sus planos, con un importante trabajo de batería cuyo aporte va más allá que una mera función de sustento y agresividad, sino que a mayores logra descubrir diferentes texturas moviéndose con soltura en una faceta black-death elaborada, en donde tampoco se descuida la profundidad de los riffs con aportes en secciones mucho más dinámicas y unas voces que tampoco desentonan en una aportación de profundidad con muchas influencias death, finalizando todo ello con un álbum que desprende oscuridad y brutalidad.
