EXOGALACTIC (2023)

Tercer larga duración para este cuarteto de Seattle, ofreciendo un sonido con muchas influencias de estilos como le black, el thrash y un death de corte técnico. En lineas generales el sonido ofrecido es bastante directo y rápido, un tono de batería alto y directo y unas guitarras que se emplean a fondo tanto en las partes más directas en donde existe un cierto componente tanto de thrash como de death que logra completar la mezcla, al mismo tiempo que no descuidan la inclusión del algunas melodías, estas últimas más presentes cuando entra en escena el estribillo de los temas, ofreciendo un tono más accesible. Las voces tiene un tono bastante directo y agresivo, manteniendo siempre la intensidad pero también dejando vislumbrar algunos estribillos más limpios. Sin lugar a dudas ese trabajo de guitarras de Tyler y Woody es soberbio, sabiendo mantener tanto un sonido agresivo y directo fundiendo estilos ya mencionados como el thrash o el death, pero al mismo tiempo dejando que una de ellas ofrezca un plano más disonante a veces o melódico otras que ofrece un nuevo escenario para la propuesta. A todo ello tenemos que unir esa temática espacial y de ciencia ficción que se encuentra perfectamente integrada y es capaz de atraparnos en el grueso del álbum. Un álbum de un sonido extremo en donde estilos como el death o el thrash saben sacar ventaja al resto, ofreciendo un resultado final en donde el trabajo de guitarras sobresale por encima del resto (7,6).
