AT ONE WITH THE NIGHT SKY (2023)

Primer larga duración para este combo sueco, un álbum de corte atmosférico, de espacios y desarrollos amplios. El álbum que explota el recurso de un sonido ambiental lento y pausado que se ve destrozado por sonidos muchos mas rápidos y poderoso, recurso que del que se nutre la mayor parte de álbum. Las partes lentas se construyen a través de una instrumentación limpia, predominando guitarras acústicas y algunos sintetizadores, con un componente contemplativo y evocador de paisajes de ensueño y soledad. Por su parte cuando entran en escena un ritmo más elevado, en donde predomina un sonido potente de batería y unos riffs más crudos de vocación melódica en segundo plano, si que nos sumergimos en terrenos más fríos y oscuros con una cierta dosis de agresividad, sobre todo si atendemos a la secciones vocales. Un álbum para degustar plácidamente, dejándose atrapar por los diferentes pasajes que pueblan el mismo, sin olvidarse de la capacidad que tiene Lightlorn de transitar por diferentes cambios de ritmo y registro, lo que se pude describir como un black atmosférico, con muchos tientes melódicos, pronto se ve superado por una propuesta mucho más directa y agresiva, conservando ese tondo melódico, pero con mucha mas incidencias de aspectos como la oscuridad, pera a renglón seguido regresar a esa facete más melódica y atmosférica.
