COAGULATING DARKNESS (2017).
Después de unos años en los que se ha labrado una trayectoria y hecho un hueco en la escena a base de editar varios splits y un Ep, junto con un recopilatorio la edición del primer larga duración de esta on man band afincada en Escocia no deja de ser una buena noticia. El black que nos ofrece James, es rápido y directo, cada riffs de este álbum parece sacado de las bandas de thrash de los años ochenta, influencia muy clara a lo largo de todo este trabajo. Sin lugar a duda los seguidores de la vertiente más cruda y directa del género con enormes y demoledores riffs de guitarra encontrará este álbum muy disfrutable. "Coagulating Darkness" despacha en menos de media hora todo un ejercicio de sonido clásico, en donde el thrash lleva la voz cantante en la composiciones, la velocidad se deja sentir en cada riffs y las influencias de bandas como Toxic Holocaust, los inicios de Bathory y por que no Kreator o Sodom están a la orden del día. Todo ello viene acompañado de unas voces que en línea generales son bastante directas y se decantan por una vertiente bastante agresiva. A destacar temas como "Demdike" o "Black Invocation" de riffs muy buenos y que en esencia son un claro ejemplo de como debe de sonar un álbum de estas características. (8).
