MYSTERY & POWER (2026)

1. Bleeding for Heaven 04:12
The veil of truth tied around my neck
Keeps twisting tighter face turning red
I wish to escape my furious captor
Who wears the same face as mine when I stare into water

I think I feel nothing
when I see myself smile
Maybe its reason or logic
or something much more mild

Give me an inch
I'll take you a mile
But the voice in my head says
you're still just a child

I should not belong
I wish I did not belong

You look away
when I pass you by
You act like I'm nothing
when I try to be genuinely kind

You think I'm so simple
but what you don't understand
Is that I'd still be just as kind
burying you in sand

I went so wrong and I've been here so long
Since I gave away my choice
The chains are so long
Why do we listen to songs that carry no voice?

I watch you cry like a baby
begging for help
Your clothes so clean
your posture so well
Can't you see social status means nothing to me?
If you can't already tell
Crying, you're bleeding for heaven
And while im laughing I cut you to hell
2. Consortium of Fools 05:57
   Youll never be clean
You'll never be pure
You'll never be royal
You'll never be heard

A traveller in time
Who has no time of his own
King of a garbage heap
He the Squatter of thrones

The winds no longer speak
The trees have shifted their gaze
Even the squirrels look down on you
Have you anything to say?

After death there is nothing
So why should I care?
It'll never mean what I meant
So why even dare?
After death there is nothing
You consortium of fools
It'll never mean what I want
So fuck all the rules

You'll always be clueless
You'll always lack the feel
You'll always have to do this
If you want to be real

A jester in a court
With no more jokes to tell
A rebel in the streets
With nothing left to yell

The music makes no sense
When you do it like that
It's lost all suspense
It's lost all attack

After death there is nothing
So why should I care?
It'll never mean what I meant
So why even dare?
After death there is nothing
A consortium of fools
It'll never mean what I want
So fuck all the rules

Life is filled with such stupidity
and I'm not saying this just so you will pity me
I crawl in the dirt with the rats of the earth
And my tone shall sustain my validity
My mouth cannot take the acidity
And I know not to expect any sympathy
So, though you may bitch and moan
You will never be alone
Because you're never getting rid of me
3. Impressions in Frost 06:14
Strange footsteps in the snow
Leading up to my cabin
Only I know of this place I live
So how could have this happened?

Perhaps the creatures of the field
But the steps take the shape of man
With a weight larger than my own size
Assuming a height taller than I stand

A recent becoming of here, a wood blight
A season of sickness within the trees
I gave to the forest spirit an offering
Without identity of spirits do I believe

But the impressions in frost besiege me
I am touched by a terrible sense of wonder

Who is he that lurks beyond the snow fells
And will I soon be torn asunder?

Welcome to hell

No recollection of how I got here
Comfort in solitude has become fear

I am ascending...
Ascending through chaos

Only through the rippling reflections of the lakeside
Do I glance the shape of once my face
Now that I stop a moment to think of it
I have been alone quite long in this place
4. Immemorial, Pt. 1 04:40
If there is anyone in the world who knows how I feel, well its not you And if there was anyone who could lend a hand I know you wouldn't know what to do As you can see here I am my own master and slave It doesn't matter anymore because today is my last day Don't try to offer wisdom because I know you have none The rational person I once was is now dead and gone I persecute myself I don't need you to do it for me I put all my wealth Into sorrow and sadness Into solitude and madness I persecute myself Simple minded fools already know what they want to believe But demons like myself are always questioning I'm not impressed by your ability to memorize Nostalgia will be the death of man Where has all your creativity gone? I'm hard on myself because I know I am right And fully in touch with my instincts It's hard living in this world Knowing you were born way too late Knowing that we can never truly return To the old way of our ancestors I don't know why we cling to these ideals That life is just a game Life's already hard in and of itself No wonder you're going insane
5. Immemorial, Pt. 2 04:36
   Silent and broken, I am
Awaiting my impending doom
Our battalion has been outnumbered
The enemy will be here soon

Will there still be honor in death
To die by such a grotesque hand?
No stories they shall sing of me
In a soon forsaken land

Silent and broken, I'll stay
As I lay but a corpse in the field
Then my only purpose shall be
Flesh for the carrion I yield

Vultures they feast on my brother
I watched them pluck out the eye
Might a simple man as myself
Enter the hall upon high?

Odin can you hear me?

What noble deeds have I done
To incur any honorable praise?
For I shall be another forgotten soul
On a dead hill with a nameless grave

Surely my families will mourn
And for sure a ten-day at least
But what about ten decades from now
How shall my sons speak of me?
6. Mystery & Power 06:29
Getting weary of this mortal realm
The hunt for true magic is on
Nobody ever wants to hear a word I say
I am escaping the meandering throng

Tired of getting raped by the will of men
This new power will be my own
To the ends of the earth, navigating mystery
To commmune with the lord on the dark throne

The hate overwhelms me

Cursed if I do
Damned if I don't

Want to know how I truly feel?
Talk to the steel

I ascend these ancient black spires
Toward my black hopes and dreams
Ivory mirror on a crumbling stone wall
Tell me why it ain't all what it fucking seems

Mystery & Power!

I now stand at the tippy top
The same place I was both lost and met
Gazing upon tetrachromatic horizons
Eye of the Odin in the sunset

What does it mean?
Is this all a dream?

Mystery & Power!

I was the wizard of a thousand kings
And if you chanced to meet me one night wandering
Ill tell you tales and I'll tell you lies
And then I'll tell you when you're going to die

Mystery & Power!

This is your final hour...
7. Sight of the Elderlight 06:41
Among the dancing leaves Amidst the symphony of winds An elderlight of yesteryear emits Both beautiful and silent But also resolute and grim Blossoming from the guild of radiance Caressing the textured branches Calmly seeping into dark spaces Carrying with it a bow of serenity Decadence unmatched Deified sight in mortal eyes Death is but an etching in time We are but an etching in time Emulating effervescent elevation Exhausting our foe which is doubt Entertaining our most infernal thoughts Fervor and fertive fragility Fragrantly furious spiritual instability Many paths lead to one answer The one that was waiting in Satan Abandoned in the chamber of the heart That was left unexercised There is a demon in man that must be exercised not exorcised An absolute waste of time spent Thinking of simple rhythm and rhyme But is it really a waste if it led you here? For if it was not for a taste of your own growing fear You would be surely misplaced Unknowing all things that you hold dear Can you see it? I can see it Do you have the sight? The sight of the elderlight
8. The Shadows That Whisper 04:53
  When I sleep, I don't dream
I am thrown in the depths of formless black

What does it mean? It doesn't mean anything
Twas the straw that broke the camels back

I close my eyes, I calm myself
Take deep breaths, one through three
Ocean of white noise, reflecting in pitch black
All too familiar with the many shades of misery

What is the mute man trying to say?
The deaf man attempts a listen in vain
Can you interpret the mental visions blind men see?
Will I ever find relief from what I know as me?

And so I lay and wait so patiently
For the power of sleep to take hold

But a certain aura, something not quite right
Waits in the corner of shadows for me to behold

Dismal detection, spiritual confection
Carrying this soul, ancient as old

Night terror

Come hither my child
Come close to me
The shadows that whisper
Are also listening
