Tercera entrega para esta one man band holandesa desde su creación en 2004, ofreciendo un nuevo trabajo de sonido black de corte atmosférico, death melódico y otras influencias como puede ser el metal progresivo que dan como resultado un extenso álbum en donde las partes instrumentales tienen un valor sustancial a la hora del resultado final del álbum. La duración de los temas permite que un estilo como el black atmosférico esté presente desde el primer momento en forma de sonidos evocadores en donde tanto las guitarras como los teclados se muestren portentosos, sin embargo cuando el temas cobra mayor intensidad empezamos a descubrir influencias en el sonido que responden a un death de carácter melódico en toda regla, al mismo tiempo que la duración de los temas permite que elementos de tintes progresivos también ocupen un lugar fundamental en el entramado del sonido. Comentaba anteriormente la importancia de los pasajes instrumentales en el álbum, más allá de la presencia de temas meramente instrumentales, no lo es menos que a lo largo de todo el álbum los detalles estén cuidados al milímetro, melodías y pasajes limpios se ven completados con unas voces oscuras y desgarradoras que sirven de contraste entre ambas secciones, lo mismo podemos decir las partes más directas que no pierden en ningún momento ese carácter no ya solo atmosférico sino que también melódico, con unas voces que no le van a al zaga ofreciendo tanto secciones oscuras y directas como otras muchas más limpias y accesibles. Todo fluye de una forma coherente a lo largo de todo el álbum, las secciones más lentas dan paso a otras con más intensidad, que al poco regresan a ritmos más lentos, ofreciendo entre medias desarrollos responden a un estilo de carácter más progresivo. EMERGENCE (2014)

No ha dejado de sorprenderme el debut de esta banda holandesa, su música se hunde en lo profundo del metal atmosférico y melódico de finales de los noventa y con una propuesta en la cual las detalles están muy cuidados consiguen ofrecer un buen puñado de temas en donde hay un peso importante de las partes instrumentales de bella factura. Su música es afrontar un viaje a lo profundo de la naturaleza y dejarse llevar por ensoñaciones paganas, todo ello gracias a un excelente trabajo de guitarras que como comentaba anteriormente destacan en el aspecto melódico pero que no dejan de lado un aire pagano que se ve refrendado por el aporte de unos teclados sombríos y melódicos. En su propuesta hay cabida también para algún atisbo de metal progresivo pero esta vertiente esta bien encuadrado en la visión general de su música que no es otra que mantener siempre su fidelidad al aspecto más clásico del black melódico. Con una batería correcta y unas voces la mayor parte de las veces un tanto agresivas pero que crea un contraste interesante con la música. En líneas generales "Emergence" es un álbum de black melódico muy recomendable, me atrevería a comentar que está entre lo más destacable de estos último meses. (8,2).
